Who is the Alexander Technique For?

The Alexander Technique can help you if:

  • You often get a stiff neck or sore shoulders.
  • You have a 'bad back', suffer from herniated disks or related issues
  • You suffer from repetitive strain injury (RSI) or carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • You become uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time.
  • You have difficulty with balance or feel strain when moving.
  • You are a singer, musician, actor, dancer or athlete and wish to perform to your full potential.

The Alexander Technique is a way to move with greater ease and freedom. Through a course of lessons, you will discover common misunderstandings about how you work. Through clearer understanding, you begin to change.

Alexander Technique is foundational. You are learning to move the way your body is designed, to 'use your self' without the interferences we usually take in to every activity. Think of it as the instruction manual you never got when you were born.
